A protest. A theatre show. An energy-generating dance party. 

 

Made from interviews with young climate advocates across the globe, HOT IN HERE celebrates action for international climate justice, and the UK’s place within it. Facing droughts, typhoons, hurricanes and heatwaves, we hear from young people on the frontlines of the climate crisis who are leading campaigns, protecting land, advising governments, building an intersectional movement, and working with their communities.

 

Featuring the first energy-harvesting dancefloor in live theatre, HOT IN HERE is an all-embracing whirlwind bringing people together to imagine a more equitable future for our planet.

ACCESSIBILITY

All performances are creatively captioned, with a relaxed environment for audiences. This means that, if for access reasons, you need to do any of the following, at any time, please feel free to:

  • Leave & re-enter at any time – there’s no such thing as a latecomer! 

  • Move around or make noise 

  • Eat or drink during the show

  • Use your phone (e.g. for magnification)

HOT IN HERE is a new devised show, made by Pigfoot, in response to the live climate emergency. As a result, the content and length of the show is subject to change.

Content guidance: environmental destruction, racism, sexism, class injustice, climate injustice, air pollution, death, cancer, pregnancy, fire, drought, vivid depiction of flooding, hurricanes and typhoons, loss of home, food insecurity, activism

Age guidance: 12+
